How to apply the Hormozi method
I’m assuming you want to make money by selling a service, right?
Money Twitter is far from the end, so you’re in luck.
People don’t realize that in order to provide value to a stranger (business), you must first earn their trust.
I’ll walk you through a quick scenario. In the following example, put yourself in the shoes of a YouTube editor trying to get his first client.
Stage 1) You’re doing cold outreach (Pitching people you see fit for your service)
Stage 2) You message CEOs, saying “I’ll get x amount of views in x amount of days” (They’re interested)
Stage 3) Since they are interested, they ask “Tyler, what results have you delivered in the past?”
Stage 4) You have zero results because you haven’t worked with a client before
Stage 5) They don’t buy because there is uncertainty about whether you can be useful for them.
It’s a recurring endless process that most people fear to face.
So they don’t even try…
On the other hand, you could send 1.000s of Dms and find 1 person to buy from you.
But my friend, you are wasting precious time.
Instead of reaching out to 100s of people, what if you did this instead:
Made a list of 50 people you WANTED to work with
Designed 2 videos for each person
Sent the videos (with a giving hand)
Followed up after 3 days with more free value
If you consistently repeated this process, the free videos would be so good that when they got posted, they would perform very well.
You get big result = You get happy client = You charge higher prices
The big lesson I want you to take away: As a beginner, don’t waste your time with cold dm message strategies.
Give away free work with your message.
